A Hindi grad and journalism major, Ravi Prakash went on to be a frontline broadcaster with several successful shows for premier news channels. Dyed in the wool for 17 years, he dreamt of starting a news channel that would be fiercely independent and bring the best professional practices to Telugu journalism. It all came to be in the spring of 2004 with the launch and instant success of TV9 AP. As CEO of ABCL, he is the steward of its pan-Indian vision and the face of TV9 AP with his self-titled show. He strikes a fine balance between journalism and management, but it’s when he is in the anchor’s chair that the adrenalin really flows.

intially i used to watch TV9 a lot.. but now am getting a feeling that tv9 getting biased and trying to do propoganda based on its own interests

I still cherish my meeting with you sometime ago, when you chose to meet the bureau chiiefs of newspapers as part of feedback exercise on TV’s second anniversary. I found you to be an innovator of the first order. We came up with several suggestions, but I was pleasantly shocked to know that most of our ideas were already there in your kitty and you, in fact, had much more.
As a mediaperson, I know how difficult it is to chart a new course, that too with a team that is totally new. There are some grey areas though, but I still feel you managed to instill a sense of mission and purpose in your team. That, I feel, is your biggest achievement.

We are proud to have a channel like TV9.but now the image of tv9 was clouded because,its news now is biased towards the congress govt(especially ysr).the channel is anti hindu.and also filled with news makers who have strong hatred to telangana and people demanding for telangana(kcr,vijayashanthi etc).but one great thing about tv9 is it is better than any other channel in telugu in the above mentioned issues.
